We are very pleased by the opportunity to capture your beautiful stories, to meet so many different couples and cultures, spend time with their families and friends, and create empathy with so many different people. We live for this and we are fully aware of how beautiful and eternal our work is, it is the only memory that remains of your day, the sound, the environment, the voices of your dearest people... We really want you to watch your video years later and feel exactly the same as you did that day.

Meet the Team

Sara Silva

I started in the wedding industry editing, full cassettes of images, and the duration of a film ranged up to about 1 hour.

I worked in many places while studying, one of them was at ‘Zara’ store, where I always had to wear makeup and red lipstick; can you imagine how 'me' I felt?

Nothing beats the feeling of marking daily goals accomplished on paper, a bit 'old school,' and I'm a 'freak' for organization. I'm also a bit clumsy, don't trust me with anything valuable in my hands.

I share my office and life with another Colibri, my partner in crime. Any guessES who?

Traveling is living, and I experience that whenever I can. I return with more strength and inspiration for each new film.

I love Legos, puzzles, ceramics, macramé, and anything that requires patience and creativity, much like editing. it's still a creative construction of something.

Grateful for creating memories that will withstand the test of time and be seen by future generations. To think that what I edited will be viewed by children and grandchildren years later, imagining them saying things like: “Grandma saying yes, and Grandpa all nervous, how cute!”

I believe that if we give a little of ourselves to the world, it can be a bit better. I've always volunteered in various projects, even as a Red Cross rescuer, I've always wanted to feel that adrenaline rush of being in an ambulance and providing first aid. I recently discovered Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau, always wanting to return. we can give a bit of ourselves every day without disrupting our routine: “One good deed a day, you don't know how much good it could do”.

Zé Oliveira

I believe it was with my father that my love for video was born, he always had a VHS camera on his shoulder, turning every moment into a film.

They say that when I was little, I used to make my own 'movies' using kitchen rolls paper as a camera.

Speaking of VHS, I adore analog. Anyone who knows me understands how my eyes light up whenever someone talks to me about it or gives me video cassettes to convert to digital. I captured all my VHS tapes, and for 16 years, every Christmas, I made a video for my family, encompassing all our memories.

In high school, during my multimedia course, I filmed the principal counting the school's savings and then creatively edited the footage. It went viral, and I almost got expelled. Imagine if there was TikTok back then.

I love people a lot, and I enjoy telling their stories, not only through cameras but also through hugs and good conversations.

I've been in the wedding industry since 2008, back when the edits were full of transitions with hearts and music from IL Divo.

Besides Colibri, I'm fortunate to work in television as an image reporter, uncovering faces and places in the north of Portugal on a TV program.

I love traveling and I'm very curious about aviation, a curiosity that clashes with my discomfort on flying. Perhaps the word 'clashes' wasn't the best choice here.

I'm Sara’s partner in crime, for better or for worse, depending on the day.

In 2011 I filmed my first wedding with a very heavy camera and I thought I'd never do it again.

I always thought my grandmother was the most beautiful woman in the world and a role model.

My first job was in a print shop as a laborer.

I was a really happy 90s child: I played football in the street, recorded music tapes and made clothes for my dolls.

Tiago Couto

I was born in the 90's, so just about to turn 30. Which still makes me the youngest member of the team. How time flies by!

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of being a teacher (initially of history), today I’m a professor of Digital Marketing and Audio-visuals. I’ve had many gigs. My first job, during my high school summer vacations, was as a carpenter’s helper, then I worked in a fruit shop: “would you like a couple of oranges?”.

I began this journey in filming weddings, capturing people’s stories, in 2012, when I filmed my first wedding. What a great adventure it has been!

My friends say I’m always cruising at 200 kilometres per hour with a smile that cheers people up!

I love dry jokes! Getting to know new cultures and new people through travelling is my vibe!

I believe that our life is a ride and that the stops we make depend on us. Thus I try to stop in every corner, create meaning and make the most of every experience.

I believe in the UBUNTU philosophy, “I am because you are”, I can only be a person through other people. That’s why I’m always ready for any adventure!
